Rosè wines these days are enjoying worldwide market success and media attention. Rivera has been pioneer and master of the category since its very first 1950 vintage taking advantage of Castel del Monte rocky hills terroir and Bombino Nero varietal genetic aptitude for rosè winemaking that brought to the achievement of DOCG status in 2011, first in Italy for a rosè wine.

We are happy to share the latest international press coverage on our PUNGIROSA Castel del Monte Bombino Nero DOCG 2018. On July issue of the US magazine Wine Enthusiast’s Alexander Peartree, mentions Pungirosa as one of his top pics among the best Italian Rosè. At the same time, Ian d’Agata, Vinous Italian wine editor, confirms the 90 pts given to the past 4 vintages of the wine.
