Fedora is a crisp, fruity white wine, a blend of grape varieties traditional to the Castel del Monte D.O.C. area, such as bombino bianco and pampanuto, with a touch of chardonnay to bring out the wine's complexity.

GROWING AREA
Commune of Andria, in the 'Castel del Monte' D.O.C. area.
GRAPE VARIETIES
60% Bombino Bianco, 25% Pampanuto and 15% Chardonnay.
VINEYARDS
Planted at an altitude of 180-200 metres in deep calcareous soils, and trained to pergola and vertical trellis systems, they yield between 100 and 130 q/ha.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are picked between August and September. The settled must is inoculated with cultured yeasts, and then ferments for about 10 days at 18°C in stainless-steel tanks.
MATURATION
The wine is ready for release 6-7 months after harvest.
TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 11.5%; total acidity 5.70 g/l; pH 3.25; residual sugar 2.5 g/l; total S02 85 mg/l.
TASTING NOTES
Straw yellow in appearance; crisp-edged, fruity aromas; dry, elegant, and well-balanced on the palate, with generous fruit and a vein of tasty acidity.
ABBINAMENTI GASTRONOMICI
Perfect with seafood antipasti, with fish and light soups. Well chilled, it is a lovely aperitif.
